Late in September. The bluest sunniest skies Let yourself feel it.
I had a lot of time to think about a lot of things yesterday as I supported Kerri in running her annual family golf tournament…but you’ve heard a lot from me lately, so I’m keeping it short today. Best to keep that mess of thoughts locked away upstairs. For now anyway.
I’m not much of a golfer so it’s easier for me to go with a baseball analogy to sum everything up right now:
Swing at whatever decent pitch life throws you. Because life is too short to hope for a base on balls.
(In golf it might be something like “Swing for the green but be sure to have a good short game,” which just didn’t pack the same punch for me.)
To whatever extent you can, whether you’ve been dealt a sh-tty or a great hand, have as much fun playing the game.
Thanks for being you, for being here with me. Have a great week.
Love you too.
