Just what I needed today. Thanks for your comments about your dad and the raised beds you planted together and the grief that kept you from them for awhile. So great that you're back at it. I try to channel my grandfather when doing things that I just want to get done because he was so even and measured and he really didn't care how long any task took him. I also LOVE Somebody, Somewhere. As always, thanks for sharing. XO
I sometimes find it helps when I re-frame certain tasks as connections. Like I remember my place in the larger scheme of things and think that it’s all part of something bigger, a mix of happy and sad accidents. But I digress…glad you are on the SS bandwagon. It’s brilliant. I was recently asked what it was about and the question stumped me, despite my ardent fervor for it. 😂😂😂
Godspeed with your fencing and gardening, for sure your dad is smiling down. My mom had an incredible green thumb. You may not remember but every year she sent me to school with a plant that she said could not die/would be hard for me to kill. Yep. They never made it. I too recently channeled her in my less than sunny back yard and moved my vegetabling to the front, all in planters. So far so good. Keep on inspiring Nicky.
